how straight foward is the algerian visa in niger
time and cost? Better in Niamey or easy enough in agadez?
as well public transport after arlit? all the way to Tam?
Is it possible to change for algerian currency at the border thanks for relevant info

I was in Agadez in January 2002, and you definitely could NOT get an Algeria visa there. I also understand that it was difficult or impossible to obtain in Niamey.
Although I was not intending to travel to Algeria, I met a German in Agadez, who trid to obtain an Algeria visa in Niamey without success, and eventually flew back to Europe from Niger. Sorry -but that is the way it is.
