I will go to Algeria next week.
I have some questions.

1 Can I rent motor bike in Alger ?
2 How is road like From Alger to Tamanrasset ?
3 Can I ride motorbike without guide?
4 Can I rent motor bike in Tamanrasset?
5 Are there gasstations on the road?

There's a shop in Tam that rents bikes...KTM's I believe.
Road to Tam is rough between Tam and Insalah, deviations and potholes...the rest is paved. Toyota Hi-Aces frequent this road, so shouldn't be a problem.
As far as I know, guide is obligatoire down South, up north, not necessarily.
Check around. Prices for guides are sorta fixed...maybe due to collusion...
If you contact a tour agency for guide services, they should be able to help you rent a bike...
