How to install Garmin 660 to GSA

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a Garmin Zumo 660 plus the Touratech mount for my 2013 (one of the last there of) GS Adventure. I was wondering how easy are they to install on the bike so they can be powered from the bike. Tried askiing Tourtech, but they werent too helpful.

very simple. just behind the oil cooler under the front frame you will see a small 3 pin connector with a cap on it strapped to the loom, this is your aux wiring for sat navs it turns on with the bike and off roughly 30 secs after the key is turned off. you will need a connector for the loom on your sat nav. Im surprised touratech didnt help you as they actually sell a connector for it BMW CAN bus power cable for GPS devices *UNIVERSAL* - Power supply - GPS accessories - Navigation | Touratech Ltd
also your local BMW dealer sell it aswell at roughly half the price you pay for the touratech one but it is less pretty. If you go for the touratech one wiring is easy just connect the red to red and the blue to black. If you use the BMW one all the wires on the connector are yellow and there is 3 of them. The middle wire is not used and as for the outer 2 you have to connect it to the aux power connector and see which wire comes from the bike loom, red with white stripe is live which you will connect to the red wire on your satnav and the other should be brown which you connect to your black wire of your satnav.
hope this helps :innocent:
