Garmin Montana 600 help please?
 

My brother in law has a Montana 600 and I want to put a GPX file onto it so we both have the route (Im sick of always being in front)
I have a Garmin Etrax 30 and the way I load GPX files onto mine is simple and quick.
Plug GPS into computer
Click on Garmin
Click on GPX
Drag and drop my GPX file into the that file on the Garmin
Job done!

I do exactly the same thing with his Montana 600 and for some reason it doesnt work. With the GPS plugged into the computer it shows the GPX is there on the GPS. But when I unplug from the computer and turn the unit on and look in tracks, there's nothing there!
It doesnt have a sd card in it and doesnt make any difference when I put one in.
Any ideas?

What did you work out? I've heard a few people saying they had problems picking up tracks, but I've got a Montana 610 and it works exactly the way you describe. I don't put tracks on the SD card, but I do have my maps on one.
