creating a strip map
 

For primary navigation i use a phone with osmand,i also have a garmin etrex vista that i sometimes the vista has no maps in it,it just show the gpx trail to follow,When i'm out riding in unfamilar areas i like to take some type of printed map with me just in case its needed-this might be a few relevant pages of a road atlas or a google map printout or similar
What i'd like to be able to do though is have a sort of roll map of the route zoomed into whatever level that seems appropriate for the ride.
Is there any software available where you can import a gpx of your route and it will create a printable strip map/map corridor to a user definable zoom level ? perhaps you can add poi on the map such as fuel stops/campsites etc.
