Not a HUBB meeting but an Overland Adventure show
 

more focussed on 4 or more wheel travel.
Starts Good Friday 3rd April to Sunday 5th April 2015 in northern Germany.

The last show was last summer on the Stratford upon Avon racetrack.
A mix of equipment suppliers, 4x4 specialists and Bushcraft too.

Sounds great exept the entrance fee of 30 Euro + 45 for camping...

I think it will be a nice meeting full of overlanders!!:thumbup1:

It is not so bad if you divide the cost by 3.
3 days for the show and camping.
It is Land Rover heaven! Last year, I saw a fabulous original Land Rover , lr1? which had a sweet sounding V8 in it! There was a huge collection of all sorts of LR's and trucks, some amphibian too!
Having a good gathering of overland equipment suppliers helped find some hard to find items and having the opportunity of seeing and discussing their merits hands on.
Craft demos going too.
Open contained fires were OK last year so bring your own BBQ and chill out with others sharing a bottle or three with some 'koteletten!'.

ORGANISER'S ANNOUNCEMENT:

Originally scheduled for 3-5 April 2015 (Easter), unfortunately "Adventure Northside" has been postponed until October 2015.

This has been forced upon us by strict German trading laws covering the Easter religious festival, our hands are truly tied!

To be honest, it would have been all too easy to give up at the first obstacle, but we believe we're creating something really special here (as do the trade and owners/enthusiasts judging by the positive feedback), so we are going to forge ahead with new purpose. The bonus? Now the event's late Summer instead of Spring, we can expect similar weather or even better, that has to be good! We trust you'll continue to support us ... all the way!!!
