EMOK 5th Enduro Bike Fest in Turkiye
 

Hello all;
I would like to inform you all about the 5th Enduro Bike Fest.
The Date is: from 29th of june to 2nd of July. 4 days in total.
Location is: Kirka, Near to the city of ESKISEHIR located in Turkey.
The site is next to a natural lake and forest.

Accomodation: Caming with toilets and food avalaibel on site. Bring your own Tent. You can cook your own if you want.

What to expect?
EMOK, as the name implies is Enduro Motorcycle Club, with members from various cities of Istanbul. We organise enduro races, trips and of course this festival. The aim is to be with different riders coming from all over Turkey. Hence the location is central Turkey, 3 hours from major cities like Istanbul and Ankara.

The festival has many games, site seeing tours, and concerts. The camping is free, the entrance fee is minimal (last year it was 3 USD).

If you plan a trip to Turkiye this is a good way to start. You will meet many riders anf get information about various parts of the country while have lots a fun.

Over the past we had riders from Germany (Sultans of Hamburg) and Greece...

Festival and else?
 

I heard about Emok as many enduro clubs existed in the past and the best they did was coming together, making camps and drinking there.

We need more than that. Many accidents occuring on the roads of Turkey because of being lack of driving and traffic culture.
I really don't know if you ever had a training programme or helping your members for efficient riding, maintaining the machine and general advices about the first aid, travelling long distances, gear and so on.

I have looked up at your website, mostly I see travel photos and friends having fun. Yes it is okay and good but up to somewhere.
I am a bit sad, I heard on the paper yesterday says that 18 people died in motorcycle accidents in Turkey within last 3 months !
We/You must try to use media and related opportunities to inform and train people against motorcycle is not a racing machine to do on the normal roads. And it needs a culture to ride. Showing respect and seeing respect from other drivers.

We shouldn't think ourselves only, vast lands and all riders should be in our basket though they are not a member, I guess.

If you look at our web site on the right you will see that indeed we do hold riding courses regularly.

In fact there was one last week. Over past years there were more than 100 riders who taken the course. The courses are still continuing. EMOK has members which have IAM and ADAC certificates for training. If you are interested you can join as well.


EMOK is a registered Club. We have an office with professional staff. We do organise 2 enduro races each year. The feedback of the competitors is very positive about these races. On top of them we are planning a super-moto race this year on top.

Finally we do activities for motorcycle awareness as well. We have lobbied for the safety of the bikers on our highways. We always promote safe riding.

This was a good opportunity for me to tell more about us, thank you.
