Why use Tangier Med ?
 

Not sure why many on this forum prefer Tangier Med Port.
We cross 3-4 times per year and always use the Tarifa - Tangier Ville route.
The boats usually leave on time the crossing takes 40 min with little or no queues at either end (excluding July/August).
Have tried Algeciras - Tangier Med a few times and without exception its always been a fiasco , that's my experience anyway.

Main reason we use Alg-TangerMed is weather. Have been caught out several times over the years at Tanger Ville when ferries cancelled due to rough seas/wind, etc. The slightly larger ferries from TangerMed still were able to run.

My reasons are that Algeciras to Tanger Med has the best prices and most frequent ferries.

It's just easy.
