October 2012 Trip Planning
 

After the success of my first trip last year I'm planning another trip this October. Got rid of my last cruiser so finding a replacement is priority. They'll be two of us in a LC90 so we're trying to picks routes with lower risk of getting stuck in dunes or lake beds but have 3 weeks to cover as much off road as possible.

We've been travelling Morocco for 10 years so it's nothing new except the overland bits, and we'll use this trip to cover some of the last bits of morooco we haven't travelled before (Figuig, the empty quarter and Med Coast) whilst seeing some familiar bits from a different perspective.

Our current plans are leaving the UK on the 7th and crossing to Tangier Med on the 9th.

then blast down the atlantic coast to Essaouira to see some old friends for a couple of days.

Most routes are from Chris Scotts book although some are hybrids of several routes.

Recently been thinking to include some Midlle Atlas pistes on the way own from the ferry, does any one have any reccomended routes or gps logs of the area between Azrou and Midelt?

Also any suggested routes from Figuig north?

And if anyone is out there this October and wants to meet or tag along for a bit let us know :)
