I’m driving my Toyota but am trailering 10 motorcycles. Does anyone know whether there are any customs officials on board this crossing to begin the import process. Obviously this would save time but that’s not how Africa generally works. If not, I wouldn’t want to be behind me in the customs queue at the port.
I’ve traveled to Melilla previously but as that’s still Spain there was nothing on board.

Not done this route but I believe the Customs (TVIP card) takes place in the port. On the boat is only immigration (Police).

How you import multiple vehicles with owners not present is the 64,000dh question which many tour ops and transporters would love to know.
I assume you have not done it before?
Afaik there is no recognised way of doing it, but it does get done.

I believe it's just a matter of persuading the Customs chief, so like you say, best park out of the way and bring sandwiches.

You will need the original V5s of course, plus I would say copies of riders' passports and official-looking letters from them stating permission, arrival dates and so on. The more paperwork the better.

Post Brexit, is this not now the case for EU transit too - carnets and all?

No idea but a French chap has just taken a transporter loaded with SSVs in and was complaining about how bad customs was.

This was an organised rally event so I assume he had a lot of special paperwork as rallies need Gov approval in Morocco.

I am motorcycle rider.

I am European union citizen. I have been to Marocco 5 times. last, dec.2022. I always traveled to Marocco with my motorcycle. I have tried to find the information online, but i am unable to find confirmation about my question.

I want to know if i can enter Marocco with CAR+TRAILER+2X MOTOCYCLES if we are 2 people in the car. Or me alone with car+motorcycle.? Motorcycles and Car is registered on my name.

As adittional question, can you please explain the general rules how temporary vehicle import works fI already know about insurance,the maximum timeframe of import and that vehicle must be registered on my name or have the power of attorney provided.

Can i enter Marocco with more than one vehicle?

Can i bring more than one vehicle of the same category?

I would be very helpful if you can provide such information.

I strongly believe that it is doable, but dont know the principle.
