MaRoute App
 

I just downloaded MaRoute, an app whipped up by the bright sparks at the Moroccan Ministry of Transport etc. I don't know if it's any good - I haven't road tested it - but they claim to post be posting flooding, snow blockage and road works on it. It looks like it uses Google Maps - you enter your destination and it pops up a standard Google route with roadworks and flood-risk warnings along it.

Doesn't show any snow blockage at the moment - I don't know how plausible that is. It is a little disappointing though. The kids are hoping to get some sledding in this weekend...

I've tried getting this app to work on an iPhone several times, it just crashes. And it seems to be no longer on the App Store.
