Idea of "car relay-race" in Morroco.
 

Dear All,

I have an idea to take my own car to Morocco and organize something like "relay-race" with my friends. Car is going to be taken by one team from Poland by one group, delivered to, let's say, Spain. Than from Spain to Morocco by next team and so.

If you have good friends it seems easy to manage everything in matter of time and space. But... I have couple of questions.

What about import/export issues in Morocco? For how long can my car be in Morocco? I'm more or less familiar with procedures, but in this case it seems to be not so easy...

Do you know any reliable guarded parking in Marrakech to leave there car for some time?

And last but not least: let's imagine, that car is broken in Morocco. So broken, that is impossible to repair or take back to Europe or even sell... What would you do in this case?
I'm know all procedures in my home country, but how to do this in Africa?

Someone else can import your car to Morocco (with a letter of permission), but they have to be the ones to export it.

You will normally get three months temporary importation which is as long as your personal trip can be. This can be extended up to six months by visiting the Moroccan customs at any port or airport.

It is possible to exit the country without the vehicle, but if you don't return within the period allotted you lose the car.

If the car breaks down and you choose not to export it you become liable for a very high permanent import bill.
