Hotel in Dakla
 

Looking for any recommendations, we are flying down in January to meet friends who are en route to Mauratania. Sea view and a roof would be nice :D
Any other helpful hints re the town will be gratefully received............ Though I'm told it's constantly changing, but then that's maroc..

Camp Mousafir on the left at the entrance to Dakhla is cheap but very basic..electricity out by 10pm...basic toilets though clean. Sea is not at all far from rooms.
Regency hotel is very nice but quite dear.
Cash machines available all over.
Cafe Venezia in downtown is nice with free wifi. You can have continental breakfast there and the service was good.
Atlantic beach is good.
Dakhla, I think, is the last place to get spare parts delivered to from rest of Maroc before you go to Mauri where it can be very hard to find spares.
Stick to hot food and try to avoid cold salads.
