D16 form question
 

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and am planning a trip to Morocco at the end of March for 4 weeks. It'll be my second time to Morocco but first with my car.

Now to my question: I have recently changed my car from German registration to UK plates. I just noticed that the DVLA (in all its wisdom) has written my name as "BJORN"...whether as per passport it would be "BJOERN". The issue is that usually the "o" has the two dots above it which the English keyboard doesn't have.

I'm now worried that the customs people may throw a fuss about this or would the experienced travelers here say that it will be absolutely fine? :helpsmilie:

I think it will be ÖK, especially as it's only your forename.
It's more the car details that need to be spot on.

Super - thanks Chris. Been studying your book and am looking forward to 4 weeks in Morocco now. I know it will be busy in areas but it will still be good fun!
