hey all

Firstly if there are any travellers in the area and doing a similar route it would be great to meet. We are waiting until Monday for out visas before driving the Atlantic route to ayoun el atrous an goin south to Bomako

More importantly I'm reading we may need to buy insurance when we enter MAURATANIA? What is the situation with this. Is it necessary, how much does it cost, where do you get it? Etc. I had planned to just shoot through MAURATANIA can we just drive on without insurance?

direct at the Border or in NDB, cost less than for Maroc, about 5k Ougiya last Dec.
