Cascades near Akhfenir
 

Hi,
I've heard that there are two waterfalls near Akhfinir. One I have found on the map and on Tim Cullis you tube clip. That's near N'am.

The other was on Oued Zehar a bit further east, but I can't find it on the map. Dies anyone know the coordinates?

Khawi Nam Cascade (my Youtube clip) are at N27 40 57.0 W12 13 10.8
Leave the N13 road and head south at N28 04 17.7 W12 07 54.9

Oua'ar Cascades are at N28 03 21.0 W11 53 45.0
Leave the N13 road and head south at N28 10 22.0 W11 51 42.9

There's also the Gouffre (collapsed sea cave) directly on the N13 at N28 06 25.2 W12 02 16.8 next to the coastguard lookout.

Thanks, I've bookmarked those for next time. Yes we saw the hole along the coast. Apparently we are also near the lowest point in Morocco at -60m Sebka Tar. And Tarfaya wind farm was wierd to just drive into it and park under a wind turbine.

Mark,the piste into Khawi Nam rambles around all over the place and is rough in parts however it is Ok for 4x4 or offroad bikes.Tims waypoint will get you there and there is a full route in Gandini but it is hard to follow on the ground due to profusion of tracks.you will need to persevere with the confusion but i thought the end result worth the effort.
