Aid-el-Kebir festival ?
 

Does anyone know the exact date for the above festival this year? I understand it is 68 days after the end of Ramadam.
I'm arriving in Tangier 29th September and I thinks it's early October this year

Google says 5th October this year so a bit earlier than last

I'll be into Morocco on the 5th but as the ferries are Spanish this shouldn't be a problem I hope

It lasts for three days and in terms of disruption is like our Christmas so make sure you are stocked up. Currently in Morocco. Likely still to be here at Eid.

Last year my alternator went at the start, whilst the main festivities were 3 day Toyota had no mechanics for 2 weeks, so yes just like Christmas disruption in many ways

I'm arriving at Tanger Med on 29th September and expext to be somewhere between Agadir and Todra Gorge on the 4/5/6th October. I was in Maroc during the festival several years ago and recall having an interesting ride across the Atlas the day before it started.
With what seemed to be half the country on the move it made for a manic and very dangerous ride!
