Vehicle rental Syria/Jordan
 

Hi,

Just looking into possibilities for 2010!

Does anyone know if it is possible to rent a car/4x4 in Syria and drive it into Jordan (and back)? Or vice versa of course.

Alternatively, if you had to choose one of the two to drive around, which would you choose? I'd be planning a few limited short range 'off-road' trips if possible, with some camping and a general sight seeing trip round the country. Will have my girlfriend with me.
