Urgent BMW mechanic needed in Jordan, Syria or Lebannon
 

Can anyone point me to an able BMW bike mechanic in Jordan, Syria or Lebannon who may be able to help with a final drive replacement on an R1200GS ? A couple of friends are leaving Egypt around now (having just survived the bombings in Dahab) heading for Jordan but having spoken to BMW in Amman they are not at all convinced that they will be able to sort the problem out. There is about an inch of lateral play on the rear wheel - experience suggest this needs a new final drive.

Thanks Szabi but we have already been in contact with the dealer in Jordan . the problem is they don't seem to have much understanding of the problem or knowldge about the 1200GS. The bike will have to end up there if we can't find an alternative but meanwhile we are hoping that someone might know a capable independant mechanic that might also be cheaper and better than the BMW dealer.
