From UK to Qatar for the Football World Cup
 

Hi all, I'm planning to ride from London to Qatar for the upcoming World Cup that is happening from mid November to mid December 2022.

The idea is to start the trip on the last weekend of October, I don't have any planned route yet apart from the fact that I intend to go via Turkey-Iran-UAE-Saudi-QATAR.

Anyway, I got in touch with Carseurope.net for an estimate on Carnet cost and got the following info regarding Saudi Arabia:

"it appears Saudi Arabia were once a CPD Carnet accepting country, however the FIA have not updated their list".

Does anyone know anything more about it?
