Saudi buying a Bike in Dubai

Hey there,

I live in Saudi (resident) and found a good deal in Dubai. what does it take for an expat to buy a bike in Dubai and bring it back to Saudi to register it there?

Also thinking about riding it to Lebanon this summer: Saudi --> Jordan --> Syria --> Lebanon...anyone done that before?

Cheers,

Import

Hi

Back in 2000, I shipped my bike from the UK to Jeddah and it took 10 days.

It then took 6 weeks to clear it from customs and have it sent to Riyadh even though the bike was registered in my name.

Good luck,

Good luck,

It would be mush different/difficult for the OP (Aboulsimm) as he wants to "buy" the bike from Dubai/UAE and it wont be registered in his name while being imported. Makes a big difference man.
