Does safe for bikers to make camp and sleeping in his bags in tent on the Syria and Turkey? Thanks a lot!

In Turkey we had no problem wild camping last autumn (2006).

yes its usually safe but you have to be carefull anyways. I usually dont prefer to camp if i am traveling alone. There are usually camping areas in touristic places these are the safest places to camp with a fee like 7$ per night .
