Overlanders in the UAE? Meeting on 29th September

I've organised an overnight camp out / inaugural meeting of like minded overlanding individuals on the evening of 29th September in Dubai. It's in the dunes but easily reached on graded tracks except for the last few hundred metres and that's really easy rolling sand, nothing too demanding. First vehicles will probably arrive around 4 - 4.30pm.

Access from tarmac is at the solar farm at Al Qudra, N 25 45.821, E 055 21.864. Follow the track in a southerly direction towards a mast. The drive into the dunes starts close to the mast, at N 24 42.442 E 055 22.337. Just drive westerly between the two rows of dunes for about 700 metres. You'll find us.

Bring food and beer / wine / whatever and sit and chat, exchange stories, check out all the vehicles on 'display'. Hopefully we can build up momentum and ultimately start hosting some HUBB meetings in future.
