Heidenau tyres in UAE/Oman
 

Hey guys,

I need a new set of Heidenau K60 Scouts in UAE/Oman in about 1 to 2 weeks in the following dimensions:

170/60B17 72T
120/70B19 60T

Touratech Dubai hasn't got them and I couldn't find any informations online about other dealers having them there. Do I really need to import them or does anyone have another tip?

Dubai-based HUBBer Dubai355 (Saleh) managed to get hold of a set of Heidenau K60 Scouts for me when I was in the UAE.

I had to fit a 140-millimetre wide rear, which was the only size available at the time, whereas the recommended width for my bike (Honda XL650V Transalp) is 120 mm.

The 140 mm still left sufficient clearance from the swing arm though - and worked okay.

If anyone can get K60s when you're in the region, then it'll be Saleh. I therefore suggest you contact him, and see what happens. :thumbup1:

Have you asked Heidenhau directly ? They are usually helpful in saying where the local distributors are.
