Flight or Sea transport from Dubai/Oman to Germany
 

Hello,
I am new here . I am 58 and would like to travel with my motobike to the UAE / Oman.
Plan is, beginning Oktober via Turkey an Iran.
Arriving in UAE mid Oktober. I meet my wife in Muscat for holiday. We rent a 4wd there. The bike should be sent back with airfraight or sea transport. Any advices or links ? Which is the better option, Muscat or Dubai for transport back to Germany ?

Hi Wolfgang

I drove the same trip but in opposite direction.
(try to get the transalp plus transvagarasan on your route and to stay in motocamp Bulgaria)

For shipping the bike back :

There are in UAE a few scamartists in the relocation sector. Check the internet before handing over cash and bike.

If you like to ship from Dubai, take a blue chip transport company. They all have a FIDI accreditation which is a guarantee to get great service.

I shipped and crated with Al Futtaim relocation and got my bike door to door in perfect condition. It was worth the few extra bucks.
