Custom tax to enter in Egypt ?

I am currently traveling in Israel and planing to enter in Egypt

Does anyone has who has crossed recently into Egypt from Israel can provide some information about custom or import taxes at the Egyptian border for foreign motorbikes?

In order to get into main Egypt, you need a Carnet. a paper you can't go in without.
I think that if you intend to visit Sinai only, down to Sharem al saich they will let you in, as they let Israeli tourists do.
get ready for a very VERY LONG time on the border. Egypt is THE most complicated 3 world border crossing with a bike. and prepare to pay at least 50$ just in filling documents.

I think it worth it :)
