Hi Mauro,
No carnet necessary for Israel, but vehicle stamped into the passport by customs, which means that you will not be admitted into many Muslim countries with the Israeli stamp in your passport, and there doesn't seem to be a way around it.

Unless you've got two passports....
(two nationallities).

I always wondered how that would work with two passports. Suppose you leave Jordan at Aqaba to Eilat. You get exit stamp in one passport with the Jordanian visa in it. You use other passport to enter Israel, and use it again to exit via Jordan River Crossing into Jordan. Then you get Jordanian entry stamp in first passport you used to exit at Aqaba, but you no longer have a valid Jordanian visa in this passport. Even if you have a multiple entry visa for Jordan, the stamps would indicate that you left the country at Aqaba, and entered at Jordan River crossing. Can you explain the trick? I would really like to know.

If by any chance - someone will travel into Israel - I'll be more than happy to meet him/her.

Another problem is the exit-stamp on the carnet when you leave Egypt/Jordan to Israel or the entry-stamp when you return.
The trick with two passports works if you go by plane (but it’s not necessary because Israel customs will stamp a piece of paper if you ask) but as I see it you can not leave the area (Egypt, Jordan, Israel) overland if you have entered Israel :-(

Israel has to be your last stop, when leaving the Middle East. As soon as you get home, go get a new passport. Shalom!!!

Thank you all for the info, i am now in Kartm Sudan and tomorrow we will start crossing the desert in northen Sudan, which now is really hot, but good spirit and some good luck we will be fine.
Probably i will not be able to get in Israel, but can people from Israel enter Egypt ???I have some friends there and would like to meet them so do you know if they can come into egypt (they are israelis)

Yes people from Israel can go to Egypt and Jordan (but not Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Libya++). If you park the bike in Egypt you can also fly to Israel to visit your friends and get the Israel-stamps on a piece of paper. Your papers will not show anyone that you have been in Israel. Your passport will contain two visas for Egypt but that’s because you have been at home to see your sick father (and you don’t get stamps in your homecountry).

Good luck with the desertcrossing, it’s easy.. Yes, it’s hot (did it in summer myself) but if you choose the western route you should be okay. Bring plenty off water (no bottled water after Dongola) only Nile-water.
