Stiftung für Helfer - german organisation to support social projects while travelling
 

If you like to support social project during your travels, then have a look at the German organisation "Stiftung für Helfer". The Organisation and you are collecting money in upfront. You visit the projects and give the donations in this way: you buy necessary things like schoolbooks, pencils... together with the local project supporter. In this way you know the donation reaches the right people. It should be selfunderstanding, that the money is only used for the projects, not for your travel expenses (you receive the money back from the organisation, after you submitted the bills).
