:palm: When I was finished my trip in Cuba, I left all my climbing gear behind for some of the local climbers. They are unable to get gear themselves, and they were pretty happy with the donation. In particular, was the guidebook, which I also let them have, with pictures of some local farmers(who I had been luck enough to meet).
The suggestion of leaving climbing gear behind for the locals was in the guide book, and I felt strongly about making some kind of donation. I think it made a difference...it certainly did for me and the girlfriend. |
