The 5 seater has the second row of seats facing forward. Even in the 3 seat version the seat belt anchor points for a 5 or 11 seater are still there they just have plastic plugs fitted in them. I have a 75 series pop top Troop Carrier, what a great truck! Just got back from a 5000km trip to Lake Eyre and it never missed a beat Glen |
I also have a 75 series, it's a factory 6 seater (if the ocupants of the double front passenger seat are skinny) with forward facing rear seat (and seatbelts obviously). Not sure when they stopped making the 6 seater, but I've seen a few around.
Awesome truck that can go anywhere with room for friends and their gear too. |

European LC 80 without turbo (1 HZ engine)
Hi all
During last May I got an LC 80,close to GX and with 1 HZ engine, in very good condition with just one owner. Let me say this: the engine is perfect and no need for any turbo at all! You think to drive more than 130 km/h? Any new 78 or 105 is a car for the rest of your live. In Africa you don't need any turbo at all, with a 6 cilinder, 4.2 cc engine. In Europe with cronometer lifes and motorways all-round, you are a slave of turbo-cars, turbo-food, turbo-drinks, turbo-anything! The worst thing to do is add a turbo to a non-turbo engine, unless you are mechanic or want to be one! Cheers, Rui Portugal |
