Hi,

the mentioned vehicle (pic in the first post) is not a Prado. Only the J9, J12 and so on are "Landcruiser Prado".

The vehicle is a Landcruiser HZJ76 and has also the 4.2 l diesel engine. But there are more versions of the J76 vehicle with other technical details (springs, engines).

Just to make some things clear .....

Paul

Sorry Paul, on the contrary.
The car is a first generation Prado (Light Duty) from the period 1990 to 1993. Read the full article (from where the picture is quoted) in the Wikipedia: Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .
This is the current Heavy Duty 76: http://www.toyota.com.au/static/imag...xl-737x297.jpg

Here you find an overview about the history of Land Cruisers:

There was similar discussion early last year: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...-rav-4-a-66381.
