Hi, I just started breaking in mine, but unfortunately snow and ice stopped me riding. The dealer suggested (contrary to the manual) to stay below 5000 rpm for the first 100 km or 60 miles (about 85-90 km/h or around 55 mph in top gear), below 6000 rpm of the next 100 km or 60 miles (about 100-110 km/h or around 65 mph in top gear), below 7000 rpm for the next 100 km (not sure what speed that would be) and then to rev as high as I like. If you want to do as the manuals tells you, you shouldn't go faster than 65 mph for the first 1000 km or 600 miles.
I managed to be disciplined, but found it very hard, the bike begs to be ridden aggressively. Enjoy!
