locked out by immobilizer on two 990 adv's!
 

while swapping parts between an 09 and 11 990 adv. I have ended up with an immobilizer code 16 which will not allow a startup. in the swapping process the ignition was (perhaps errantly) unplugged while the battery was still connected. perhaps the immobilizer thought a theft was in process and locked in an alarm which may require a dealer reset dunno?? does anyone have any ideas. does unplugging the ignition cause a latched alarm?
assistance is very much appreciated as the error is showing on both bikes and I'd hate to just helplessly go to a dealer with wallet open and say, please fix it.
