kle500 starter clutch issue, info please:
 

2006 model,
There has been a clanking sound for ages on start up, but it's suddenly got much worse,
Got the genny cover off and am waiting for a mate to pick me up the m18x1.5 bolt to shift the flywheel.
The gears seem ok, the oneway mech seems ok. my question are.
How much fore and aft play would you normally get on the flywheel gear (got loads) and how do you measure the correct slack in the starter chain? (seems very slack.)
