KLE 500 rear brake pad spring clip retainer placement?
 

Hi all,

I have been fixing up a KLE500A2 as a summer project. Today I was replacing the swingarm, which was bit of a hassle but successful none the less. However, during the process I removed the brake pads and now I can't get them back on!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the spring clip back in. The pieces I have are small and large pads, caliper, and spring clip. I found a small spring nearby, but I am not sure if that is part of the assembly? Is there some kind of trick to fitting the spring clip back in?

False alarm folks! I have answered my own question!

In my infinite mechanical wisdom I had been attempting to install the spring clip backwards! doh
