HU Northern Mini-Meet 21/23 Feb at Haggs Bank

Hi all, thought you would be ready for a run out so we will be meeting at Haggs Bank Bunkhouse, Nentsberry, Cumbria, CA9 3LH Haggs Bank Bunkhouse and Campsite - Nenthead, Alston, Cumbria if you want to check it out.

The cost is £18pppn in the bunkhouse, this includes bedding so you can travel light and camping is £8pppn. If you book in for the Friday and Saturday night we will have a free hot meal waiting for you! Tea and coffee will be free all weekend too! Saturday night we will put on a 2 course group meal for £7 a head.

With a great local brewery just down the road, we will be getting in a selection of local beers at a very reasonable price beer which hopefully you can chill out with round the firepit on the Saturday night.

We will be having trail riding and road runs if anybody is interested? :scooter:
You will need to book in so we know numbers, we will require 50% up front to secure your place to have:funmeteryes: ring me on 07919092403 if you want any more info, thanks Danny

I'm fairly new to HU but am now an avid forum reader. Planning a 3 month trip, heading to Morocco in April with a mate, so have lots to learn.

This weekend sounds great. Can me and my mate come along for the Saturday & book in to the bunkhouse? How do we book in?

It'll be great to meet some of you and learn from some more experienced travellers, whilst tasting some of the local brewery's finest

WOW what a great weekend filled with an amazing group of people and just thought probably filled with the most travelled people in the UK, even had traveller's from Holland and Belgium. Two off rd runs with an easy and hard route which even the famous Terry Brown enjoyed!
The road run took us on the highest fell in the UK and the highest road in the UK as well :thumbup1: , then there was the river crossingdoh which Bram and I survived while others, concerned for our safety, took loads of pictures and filmed the event just in case....... but this was a adventure weekend:scooter: , the local beerwent down a treat too! We had a total of 40 people turn up over the weekend, so a big thanks to everyone who came and helped to make a magic weekend that has to be repeated:clap:

It's Monday morning and back at home we have both a big smile on our face! Andy and I enjoyed every minute at this beautiful and warm place. We felt very welcome and had a great time with this nice bunch of people.
Thank you all and especially Danny and Catz, who both spoiled us rotten!
