There's another Overland Adventure Tour Bike Day at the Ace Cafe on Sunday 21st February. From 9 to 5. Are you going? Last year's event was excellent.

Last years was a very good enjoyable day. I bought so many books I'm still reading them!
Sadly I'll be in France on the 21st so I can't get there this time. Hopefully a few people will post pics / do write up.

Thats funny-I have logged on to specifically ask is there a meet again this year at the Ace. Last year's was a great day out-and as I recall in the middle of 2009 snowy season!

Wrong, wrong & wrong. No where near as exotic or impractical as that I'm afraid.

Hint : I was at Ripley 2009 and I believe the only one there.

Yes, why not. The only issue is parking. Their carpark will be full of bikes. I parked my van in the street last year.

I hope to go this year last year snow stoped us getting out of house, I hope this lot of snow is gone by then!

Hi all, being quite new to the site and never been to one of your events, what would I expect on the day

This isn't a HU event. For all details, please visit the Ace Cafe website.

I believe Grant and Susan, Austin Vince and Lois Pryce, Touratech amongst others will have a presence. Last year there were talks by Austin, Simon Gandolfi (and others? I can't remember). Austin, HU and Sam Manicom had stands selling books and dvds, the carpark was full of bikes and people stood around and chatted.

This year: Probably similar.
