Chiang Mai

Hi All,

Just wondering who's going to the meeting? We'll be in Laos at the time and just want to know if it's worth the extra visa fees.

Was there last year and had a good time.

John and Kelly

Grant Johnson 18 Dec 2010 17:11

Sorry, we never know for sure who is going to be there- travellers are notoriously unreliable! If you had a good time last year, I don't see why you wouldn't this year! :funmeteryes:

Wish I could be there myself :(

ricktherider 28 Dec 2010 09:20

Me too I should have checked sooner I am now in Sing getting a well overdue service on the beemer

barkingbiker 1 Jan 2011 08:52

Looking forward to it....

We hope to be there. We're leaving Vientiane tomorrow and heading up ChiangMai way. We'll probably be there a day or so early and would love to meet up with anyone who's around. See you in the new bike traveller's bar, Rider's Corner - by the north east corner of the canal - for a beer and a chat?

Chiang Mai meet

Big thanks go out to Greg and Tom for their hard work in setting up the meeting. It's great how so many travellers managed to make it, and everyone seemed to enjoy it and go away happy (or merry).

It'd be good to see a photo or two of the line-up.

Thanks again - we'll buy you a Chang when we see you.

Matthew and Anita

hey guys

So looks like we will be in the area around those dates, cannot confirm 100%. But who else is going to be aorund?? Also is there a KTM dealer in bangkok?? India has taken its toll on my poor KTM and i have also run out of inner tubes and rear ones are very hard to find!!

Grant Johnson 21 Dec 2011 02:12

There's always at least 30 travellers, so expect lots of people to meet and greet! Also Chiang Mai is a good place to get most easy stuff - if they don't have it someone will know where to get it. Write the Community in advance and ask! :)
