I attend the annual BMW Norcal 49er's event at Mariposa Fairgrounds every year and there's plenty of RV parking/camping. Two locations are probably available at this event like they are at the BMW Norcal event - One to the right of the entrance is all pavement and very close to where most of the central activity/buildings are located, the other is behind the stadium. It's dirt but is usually quieter and is still close to restrooms/showers and the tree covered motorcycle camping area that I prefer. So it all depends on your preferences.

So I just got back from HU Mariposa. WOW!!
A ton of info and $$$ well spent! So many trips, tips, subjects, discussions, questions, answers, experiences,insights...
I could go on and on.
I am planning a South American adventure and I won a prize in the raffle so I chose the ripcord insurance & evacuation policy!!
I will be back, and back, and back.
