Rotterdam Mini-Meet/Lager Frenzy, March 19th 2011
 

Me and two other HUBBers are riding to the mighty Dutch metropolis on the evening alluded to above. If anyone else wants to help us drain the Heineken reservoir dry, speak up!

can it be a gin-and-tonic-fest also ? I read once that port was 'discovered' in the Netherlands, after bringing back wine from Portugal and it upped its strength on the voyage. is that true ?

date = weekend of the 19th March. time = all day festivities...

Hmm. I need to be in London on the 9th, 10th, 17th & 20th of March. Which leaves a gap of exactly the right time-frame. Unfortunately I also need to have the car in London. If I can figure out a way of getting the bike there too (somehow driving the car to Rotterdam would be infinitely less fun) then I'll join you!

I've put the date in my agenda, I'll try to drop in and pick all your resourceful brains to get my ass off the couch and make a first big trip!

obviously, if you don't get the motorbike there you could take a Boris bike for a long weekend away (use someone else credit card to pay for it though!). or, the third muskateer might not be motorbiking due to a gammy knee, so I suspect there may be some sort of train and ferry action.

Well the work on 17th & 20th has now been taken away from me :censored:, which potentially gets rid of the car/bike/London scenario, but unfortunately also gets rid of the cash to pay for exotic beer and, more expensively, fuel to get there :(

So I will have to pass
