Up-grading my old Honda Frankenstein
 

I am considering getting rid of, or trading my 79' Honda CM400E because I want to take a long road trip in North America. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as to the newer bikes/ or parts available if breakdowns occur. Thank-you sincerely rio_perros

Lots of good bikes out there, how much do you want to spend on the bike? What kind of riding do you want to do? Fast, slow, two up, backroads, freeways? Summer is coming.

Upgrading a Frankie
 

Hi there Bill, thanks for your reply. I've ridden all kinds of m/cs, in 3 or 4 countries, and have made repairs myself. I was thinking of upgrading my old honda 400, for something newer. However, if problems occur that cant be fixed or get parts the loss wouldn't be as bad if I had to leave it behind(verses a new bike). I will keep looking around here to see what others have done.
