transalp suspension seat height reduction
hi folks i ride a honda transalp 650 it is 2 years old and i love it
one problem i have with it is i am slightly short in the leg department so am looking to alter the rear suspension i need to get a longer or shorter linkage whichever is the correct one to make the seat height lower does anyone know if ;- A they make such a part to make it lower B where can i get one i am in the uk so suitably in the uk but failing that where else i could get one i have also considered having the seat altered but fear that this might make the ride quite uncomfortable over longer distances many thanks if any one can offer me some help |
Not sure of any components to reduce the rear suspension, you could reduce the rear preload a bit, to allow more the rear to sag a bit more (as long as you don't carry too much weight.
You could also raise the forks so the fork caps show through the yolks 1/2" or more would help. You mention reshaping the seat, did you know a that there is a low seat option from Honda for the 650? Just some thoughts, hope that this helps. Phil |
transalp
Hyper Pro do a complete front and rear kit to lower the Transalp by 30mm.
Hope this helps. |
