Repair manual AT RD03
 

Hi

I have lately been the proud owner of an africa twin from 89. The RD03 model.

Does anybody have a haynes repair manual for this model ? I have only been able to find a manual from the RD04 and up models. :helpsmilie:

The 650 ccm engine on the RD03 model, is that the same as the 650 ccm engine on the later transalp ? I have been able to find repair manuals for the transalp, but I am not sure if this engine is the same

I've got a Haynes Manual that covers both TA and AT 87-07. Problem with it is that it is very detailed without being very detailed and often you're left with sorting through 'options' for one that fits the particular bike you are working on. It just covers too many models.

But to your question- I'm not sure if the RD03 has exactly the same engine as the TransAlp. Although the 650 and 750 engine is almost identical in lots of ways there are some significant differences like the clutch baskets. But the RD03 does have the same frame etc as the RD04 and I'm sure you'd be able to find an appropriate option in the manual for 99% of the RD03.
