Thanks for info ted the valves are not leaking really bad and i think that if i lap them they will be good the cam and chain look really good asdose the top of the piston, but just been out and checked the feul in the piston and its gone so cylinder off in the morning and for sure new rings and as you said i might go for an over sized piston depends on the state of the bore.

Most of the time you'll get away with a hone and a new set of standard size rings.

Measure the ring gap as it sits now. Then after a light hone. Have you got a manual with the specs in ?

Well I've made a boo boo when attemting to undo the bolts for the Air Suction valve from the cylinder 3 of the bolts heads snapped of and as i was in a rush to get it do and out of my wifes way.i used an easy out which in turn snapped (I know don't say it f****** easy outs) so then tryed to drill it out Idid but guess what it made a complete mess so now not enough metal for helicoil which is what i should have done in the first placed. So what do you guys think of Epoxy putty then tapping it fitting a helicoil in and then thread locing the new bolts in.It dosn't need to hold up to much as its not a high presure part.
