Honda XR250 Baja
 

Evening all. Any Baja 250 riders out there who can offer advice? I am currently on a rental in Cambodia; the bike has been stuttering when you put the revs on after changing gears. You have to rev it quite hard to stop the stuttering. It is fine when cruising at speed, but lower speeds cause the stuttering. I had the carb removed, stripped and cleaned, but it has made little difference. It runs fine generally, but just feels like the fuelling isn't right. Any ideas?

I would drain the tank and carb then refill with fresh petrol and check the old stuff in a clear container for water.

Thanks Mark; looks like you were right. A local roadside mechanic fixed it for US$0.50. Gotta love Cambodia!!
