Honda Xl 200 Dakar
 

Hi,

I was thinking to buy this motorcycle year 1986 kms 31.000 or 31,000 battery changed, brushes of the electric ignition engine changed, what are the most common issues for this moto I have heard about easy maintenance great reliability, as the part of the name is Dakar a ride to that town from Europe is doable or not ???

I have not used Xl200 but from 2010 I work with 5 five XL125S. I teach peaople to ride off-road on those bikes. These are the most reliable bikes you can imagine period. Tough as nails. We used that things untill pegs literally fell off. Then we arranged new pegs did some top-end rebuilts and we have new bikes:)
