Fuel Filter for Africa Twin in Stands countries
 

Hello all,

I am riding an Africa Twin overland from Europe and I should be crossing from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan with the ferry and from there through Uzbekistan to reach Kyrgyzstan.
With regards to the fuel, specially in Uzbekistan, do I need to install any extra fuel filter or should it be ok as it is?

Roadside fuel in the Stans is notorious, but I'd say a "sock" filter is a good idea in any case. Many brands available, this is just one example: https://guglatech.it/en/

Another suggestion I've heard is to put a Golan inline filter between the pump and the injectors.
