Dominator fairing grommet

Without even trying very hard, it seems that I have single handedly managed to be the cause of an international management meeting at Honda
(Yay for butterflies and huricanes and all that).

I was in Honda Chiswick and enquired about just picking up a new rubber grommet that, with the allen head screw (my technical jargon is somewhat made up LOL), holds my left fairing (which covers the air filter box) in place. It's a kind of lipped rubber washer that protects the fairing from any vibrational damage too.

3 order attempts and a staff meeting later (and this is all in the quest for a grommet that probably costs about 30p), it appears that the microfiche from Japan is incorrect.

Still no little grommet for Dorothy my '96 Dommie.

I'll be sure to order 20 when they finally sort it out so that I can start some black market sales

30p....you must be joking! The only time i needed one of these gromets on another bike,it cost me £4.50p! I worked it out that it cost more than the equivellent weight in the finest gold you can buy.

£4.50???

Crickey!
...where's that duct tape?? Maybe I can redesign the little sucker
:)

(probably only cost 30p to manufacture)
