Dodgy instructions Givi luggage frame fit
 

Just a general heads up; I bought a frame Givi Monolock frame for my 2016 Africa Twin. The instructions were bonkers wrong. Fortunately I managed to figure it out before going too far and managed to complete the task OK.

I don't know what went wrong, whether they sent me the wrong instructions (though they said Africa Twin 2016), included some sheets from the wrong set, whatever, but it was definitely not right.

If you have the same instructions I had, when you get to the bit that says remove Side Covers and then remove Rear Carrier (which had already been secured into place by new bolts supplied in the kit), don't.

By that time you've almost completed the fit and you'll be able to figure it out from there.
