AT front brakes locking?

hi there quick question about changing the pads on my africa twin.ive had a few probs with the pistons siezeing up so have pulled the front brake pads out got some good old wd40 around the pistons which freed up nice and replaced the old worn pads with new ones.now ive got a problem with the front wheel locking when i go for the brake lever?is this common with new pads do they have to wear in for a few miles or did i just buy the cheap crap ones?????
not much fun on a wet road:thumbup1:

Do you mean, once you apply the brakes, the wheel locked and stays locked ??

If you do, your pistons are siezed which means your only non-bodge option is to replace the seals and clean the pistons !

yep they were siezed!

cheers for the post tedmagmum i pulled the callipers off this morning and 2 of the 4 pistons were siezed, one on each side!just got them back togeather and started to bleed them but good old winter has closed in and its now black outside.went for a quick test ride and they seem alot better just have to do another quick bleed tomorrow and should be all good....fingers crossed:thumbup1:

sliders

dont forget to clean and grease the sliders that the callipers move on also! i find the AT brakes rather crap for this and clean/grease everything when i change the pads. if not it plays up!
